About NAUCA Convention
The NAUCA Cultural & Trade Convention will bring together Ugandan Canadians, African diaspora entrepreneurs, and Canadian businesses to celebrate culture, strengthen community ties, and promote trade and investment opportunities between Canada and Uganda.
The convention will feature cultural showcases, business exhibitions, networking sessions, youth panels, and a gala dinner.

Provide a platform for networking, Cultural Exchange, business opportunities such as Diaspora Banking, Agriculture Technology, Real Estate Investment Opportunities, Education, Immigration, Tourism, Health and Community Development,
Advocate for National Diaspora Policy
Advocate for active participation in the formulating, implementing and updating of the National Diaspora Policy that will enhance the quality of life for all Ugandans in the Diaspora and encourage trade partnerships between Ugandan and Canadian enterprises
Promote NAUCA's Mission & Support Community Initiatives
The Convention will promote NAUCA's Mission, Vision and Objectives that will ultimately develop a strong capital base that will go towards support for its community initiatives that include promoting youth engagement and leadership as well as cultural and economic development.
Access Essential Consular Services
Facilitate access to essential social government services such as Uganda National ID, Passport issuance, and other Diaspora related Consular Service opportunities,
Skills Mapping & Transfer Program (IOM/UN)
The Skills Mapping Program under the International Organization for Migration (IOM) through the United Nations is actively engaging Ugandans in the Diaspora with skills transfer that will ultimately play a key role in the development of Uganda
Growing University & College Exchange Programs
University and College exchange programs are growing at a fast pace with Colleges and Universities with established exchange "work term" experience to students in Canada earning credits by volunteering in Uganda
Awareness of Canadian Skilled-Worker Programs
Awareness sessions for Skilled-Worker programs initiated by the Government of Canada with the objective of attracting qualified individuals to explore options of working in Canada
